The Wedding Seamstress specializes exclusively in formal dress alterations. They put a tremendous amount of time and commitment into each gown, whether it is a wedding dress, a bridesmaid’s gown, flower girl dress, or Mother of the bride gown. They provide their clients with a relaxing and calm environment in Olde Town Arvada, going as far as providing a wide array of complimentary delicious chocolates. It is safe to say that The Wedding Seamstress team makes it their mission to uphold standards far above any bride’s expectation.

One unique feature of the business is that the head seamstress, Deedee Vicory will sit down with any bride to create a custom made dress. From drawing the design to sewing the dress, Deedee truly pours her heart and soul into making the brides wishes a reality. Dresses are all specifically altered to give each bride the desired look for her wedding.

Deedee has been working in bridal for 16 years as well as acquiring an extensive background in the fashion and wedding industries. She has a love for the art of dressmaking and feels that, “the bride and her wedding dress are the centerpieces of the wedding.”

Deedee is a very talented and skilled seamstress, she could not have made The Wedding Seamstress what it is today without the help of her husband and co-owner, Justin Vicory. There is also a passionate team of seamstresses and apprentices ready to meet any needs the brides may have. Staff members wear an apron, custom-made to fit their individual personalities and to add color to the studio.

Deedee and Justin are currently leading their team in creating their own line of wedding gowns. The gowns will appear under a new label and will be sold exclusively at a new location. We will be sure to update our brides, with information about the new line as soon as it becomes available to us.
